Description
These huge structures tower over a waterway in Freeport, Texas. It is not clear what their purpose is, but I am guessing they are used to direct the white pipes into the hold of a ship to transfer liquid cargo. I really liked the replicated complexity of the structures, and chose to process them with high contrast and somewhat bolder colors to make them more graphic in appearance. The title is a play on the old doowop song, Wooly Bully, but of course you cannot use punctuation in FAA titles.
Gary Holmes is an advanced amateur, opportunist photographer of nature, landscapes, abstract, and other found objects of interest. Although I have been a photographer for decades, I have only started posting them for others to see in the past 6 months. I have had sufficient encouragement from posts on other sites to try putting some up for sale on FAA. Please see my larger collection of posts at http://500px.com/holmesidepi. I plan to progressively start posting the best of those on FAA over the next few months.
