Preserved steam locomotive 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley hard at work on the East Lancashire Railway heritage line in England. 60007 is an A4 class locomotive, and is a sister locomotive of world speed record holder 60022 Mallard, which is currently on static display in York Railway Museum. 60007 holds the post-war speed record for a steam locomotive on the UK rail network. 60007 was named after the designer of the class Sir Nigel Gresley.

Very different front to this train.
David Birchall replied:
This is the streamlined design of the A4 class, of which 34 were built between 1935-1938. Very different to everything that had gone before. The streamlined casing originally covered the huge driving wheels but was removed after complaints that it made day to day maintenance too difficult.
