Description
This was an evolutionary process. I started with six hand-held photos of a sunflower in our back yard, then blended them using nine different algorithms. Each individual blend had its own characteristics and color palettes. After a week or two, I thought they would look good side-by-side in a collage. It took me several hours to figure out how to do this in Photoshop, but it eventually came together. After contemplating it, I've decided to make it an homage to the work of the great pop-artist, Andy Warhol, who painted, and was photographed with, sunflowers on multiple occasions.
