During a freak blizzard in our area, I took off looking for shots that people in more frigid climes take for granted. I came upon this abandoned truck, with its even more decrepit cargo. Note the roll of barbed wire in the rear cabin. Bell County, Texas

What I love about a piece such as yours here is how it holds the rusting past with the chilly, blowing present, so full of stories and mystery. It would make an evocative first frame in a movie! f/v
