An abandoned farmhouse and barns awaits the wind and rain from an oncoming cold front in Milam County, Texas. The two wooden structures had collapsed to the ground the next time I drove by them less than a year later. The heavy downpours and the low angle of the sun created dramatically lighted curtains of rain. This photo is one of a series I captured of one of the most beautiful thunderstorms I have ever witnessed, as I drove home through Milam County a few years ago. I am posting the best of my captures together.
