Ahh, the Texas bluebonnets (Lupinus texensis) are out in force this week, our indicator of springtime in central Texas. This field is near our favorite park, captured just after sunset. This already appears to be a stellar year for wildflowers in our area, after several years of drought all but eliminated them.
