Artist's Description

This Tufted Titmouse (Baeolophus bicolor) was bathing in a creek in a local park. This spot is apparently a preferred bathing location for titmice and for Yellow-Rumped Warblers, but the light was difficult, and weeds in the foreground limited my ability to get clean focus on the birds. The watercolor effect brought out the colors in the water and saved this shot.
