Description
Tiny white stars form and emerge from luminous, reflective depths, surrounded by nebulous swirls of multicolored gases, interspersed with tendrils of dark matter. This image is straight from the camera from a single capture, with only minor tweaks of detail, color and contrast and minimal cropping. Nothing was added or deleted. You, the viewer, have the right to make your own impressions. Please tell me your interpretation, and I may divulge the true subject of the photo.

Gary Holmes, photographer: I am an opportunist photographer of nature, landscapes, abstract, and other found objects of interest. I prefer to capture the spontaneity of things and events as they are occurring, and rarely photograph staged subjects other than portraits. Although I have been a photographer for decades, I continue to study and learn the craft. Long ago, I embraced the hugely expanded opportunities offered by digital photography, but I have only been posting them online since September 2012. As a result, I have now successfully sold several of my works. I will continue to post my very best works on FAA and other sites every day or two, as time permits. Please revisit my sites periodically. I welcome your votes, support and gently constructive criticism or suggestions, all of which help guide me in my photographic odyssey. Nothing makes me happier as a photographer than knowing someone likes one of my works so much that they purchased one. I look forward to hearing from my purchasers about how and where you are using your purchased photograph, and from potential purchasers if you would like to buy something in a format not available on the website.
