Description
On a sunny December day, mid-morning sunlight reflected from the eastern wall of the Renzo Piano Pavilion, converting a tranquil waterfall into ribbons of liquid bronze as it tumbled into the shaded, deep blue water below. Courtyard of the Louis Kahn Pavilion at the Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth, Texas.

Gary Holmes, photographer: I am an opportunist photographer of nature, landscapes, abstract, and other found objects of interest. I prefer to capture the spontaneity of things and events as they are occurring, and rarely photograph staged subjects other than portraits. Although I have been a photographer for decades, I continue to study and learn the craft. Long ago, I embraced the hugely expanded opportunities offered by digital photography, but I have only been posting them online since September 2012. As a result, I have now successfully sold several of my works. I will continue to post my very best works on FAA and other sites every day or two, as time permits. Please revisit my sites periodically. I welcome your votes, support and gently constructive criticism or suggestions, all of which help guide me in my photographic odyssey. Nothing makes me happier as a photographer than knowing someone likes one of my works so much that they purchased one.
