Description

With apologies to Marcel Duchamp, and yes, it was a road, not a staircase. This red fox trotted downhill alongside my car just after dawn as I drove down from the Paradise Lodge in Mount Rainier National Park, Washington. I processed it to bring out the motion effects in the original, which reflect the movements of the car and the fox. Fortunately, I stayed on the road. In the circuitry of my mind, the end result reminds me of Duchamp's cubist painting, Nude Descending a Staircase (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Duchamp_-_Nude_Descending_a_Staircase.jpg).
