Description
This Great Egret (Ardea alba) was photographed in very early morning light, using my Canon 400 mm f5.6 at maximum aperture and a very slow shutter speed setting I had selected for still shooting. The only processing was to bring out the colors and contrast. I almost considered this a failure, but it has an almost mystical quality that caused me to rethink it. Tell me what you think.
